March Madness Comes to An End........

March has carried a lot of Madness for me. Cody's birthday party was a hit this year, but I think it is every year. Chris and I decided to put down new flooring in our kitchen. Well, I decide and Chris done it. We are very pleased with those results.

The week after the new flooring I set the side of the house a fire. Luckily we got it put out with damage only to the siding. Less than $500 in damages. Freak accident. That took place on Wednesday prior to our family coming on Friday.

Then that Friday Misty was trying to finish Cody's birthday cake, and she had cake disaster. She ended up having to redo the entire cake, and had to leave her home in Indiana a lot later for the travel to Kentucky. She didn't arrive until 5:30 a.m. Saturday. Had Cody's Birthday Party that afternoon all went well.

I enjoyed Margaritas with my cousins and dad that evening at El Bracero's. We had a fun series of card games.

My cousin Emily brought her Husband to Kentucky for the first time. I am not sure how he enjoyed himself. I think he liked it here. Also this was the first time in some while that all 3 siblings of that family had been in together. I was glad that they all got to come visit. It made Cody's 10th Birthday more wonderful.


Well on that Sunday we went out to my Uncle's house for them to all visit with them. After that short visit we all decided to head to the mud bogg before Brian, Emily and Josh had to head home. Dad took Cody's mud bogg rail down for him to drive it int he mud pit. Dad turned his ankle and fell in the path of the rear wheel. It ran him over, but it didn't hurt him to bad. He fractured his ankle and had rail rash on his a**. His neck has bother him some.

So now you can understand why the March Madness needs to come to an end.

I am hoping for a less exciting month for April.
Cody's Third Quarter Report was a little disappointing to me, but still good he got 3 B's and the rest A's.
